C Kite Festival 2025: kite, music and island spirit on Mauritius’ east coast
From 26 to 30 June 2025, the C Kite Festival returns to C Mauritius Palmar for its 4th edition: five days to celebrate kitesurfing and wind sports
From 26 to 30 June 2025, C Resorts will host the fourth edition of the C Kite Festival on the shores of C Mauritius Palmar. This much-anticipated event blends the excitement of kiteboarding with the dynamic energy of Mauritian culture, offering a vibrant mix of sport, music, gastronomy, and wellness in a setting that celebrates freedom and island spirit.
This year’s line-up welcomes some of the biggest names in the world of kitesurfing: Antoine Auriol, former world champion; Hannah Whiteley, world kite speed record holder; Tom Court, freeride master; Gisela Pulido, 10 times freestyle world champion; Valentin Garat, French freestyle champion; the waterwoman Julia Castro; and local prodigy Louka Pitot, 2 times junior world champion. Watch them do their magic during freestyle shows, put your skills to the test as they judge the Best Trick & Big Air competition, and join them for open sessions where amateurs and pros ride side-by-side.
But the C Kite Festival isn’t just for kitesurfers. Over 5 days, C Mauritius will become a beachside playground with sunset yoga sessions, street food pop-ups curated by italian chef Lorenzo Sirabella, live concerts and local and international DJ sets under the stars.
A perfect long weekend for everyone, kitesurfers, water sports enthusiasts or just those looking to chill, dance and enjoy island life at its best.
